Patient Companionship

Visit patients for conversation, reading, or quiet company, in-home or at a facility.

Administrative Support

Help with mailings, scheduling calls, and light office tasks from home or our office.

Bereavement Support

Offer follow-up calls or visits to families in the months after they've lost a loved one.

Special Events

Help at community fundraisers, memorial services, and appreciation events.

Music & Comfort Arts

Bring music, pet visits, or gentle creative activities to patients who welcome them.

Before You Apply

What volunteering with us involves

Must be 18 or older

Volunteers under 18 may apply with a parent or guardian's written consent for select roles.

Background check

A standard background check is required before working with patients, at no cost to you.

Health screening

A TB test and basic health screening are required, and can be completed at our office.

Orientation & training

All volunteers complete a short orientation covering hospice basics, boundaries, and safety.

Time commitment

Most roles ask for 2-4 hours a month, though we welcome as much time as you're able to give.

As she battled COPD and entered hospice care, our families were walking through an incredibly painful journey, and Hannah made an immeasurable difference.

Hannah was caring, compassionate, nurturing, and deeply dedicated. She consistently went above and beyond what was expected, standing out among every nurse we encountered. She treated my friend with dignity, kindness, and genuine love, and she cared not only for the patient but for all of us surrounding her.

Because of Hannah, an already devastating experience was made more bearable. She brought comfort, peace, and support during a time when we needed it most, and we truly cannot thank her enough. My family, my best friend’s family, and I are grateful from the bottom of our hearts for everything she did.

I would recommend Hannah without hesitation to anyone needing a nurse to care for a loved one — whether in hospice or any other healthcare setting. She is a phenomenal nurse, and people like her are incredibly rare and difficult to find.

We were thinking of a nursing facility or assisted living when we discovered this amazing group.  Mom’s nurse Hannah is the most thorough and caring lady.  She explains her care and takes time for us.  We feel heard and cared for completely.  I would also like to mention Leticia who comes to help her bathe or shower.  This lady is truly something special and has made my Mom feel completely comfortable.
